OVERVIEW
Minti helps creators mint Instagram posts as NFTS. In the digital age that we live in today, it's more important than ever that content creators and creatives in general, truly own the content they create and distribute.
The objective was to design a responsive web application as well as create a design system that could scale and grow as Minti expanded. Operating as Lead Designer (and only designer in the company), in 3 months, we were able to launch the product that allowed users to mint, buy, and sell NFTs all within the Minti ecosystem.
Introduction
I joined the Minti team at a very early stage. They were pivoting from a previous venture and had just raised a 7-figure pre-seed round. I worked directly with the co-founders and their lead investors to design their product from the ground up, taking it from 0 to 1 and ultimately successful product market fit.

Creating a brand, product, and design system from scratch

When designing new features and components, it was critical to consider potential future states, growth, and scalability.
Designing checkout flows for on-chain purchases
When designing a checkout flow for on-chain purchases multiple variables must be considered. Some of these variables include the wallet where the purchase is occurring, the wallet balance, authorization signatures, and gas fees.
After we launched V1 I uncovered the potential to implement a Custodial Wallet. This allowed users to make transactions directly in their native browser, bypassing the need to download a wallet app. This wallet was called Minti Wallet.
